Audio / Video Presentation System
A state-of-the-art multimedia system provided the finishing touches to the McLean County Law and Justice Center boardroom after the building
remodel in 2005. A new A/V presentation system along with enhanced audio features for assisted listening, reporting, and press feeds gave the boardroom 21st century tools for optimal communication.

TEC provided a state-of-the-art multimedia and enhanced audio system for the McLean County Law and Justice Center boardroom when the building as completely remodeled in 2004/05. The Law and Justice Center boardroom is used regularly for meetings of the County board, various committees, and training of employees.

The A/V presentation system can be utilized for PowerPoint presentations, digital images and video feeds.

The multiple uses of the boardroom required flexibility in the audio setups. The Shure Conference One Discussion System was chosen for its flexibility without compromise of the audio quality. The gallery audio
system provides sound reinforcement from the video sources and microphones.

McLean County Boardroom

At the heart of the command control for the audio and video system is the Crestron Control system. Seamless operation of all A/V equipment is controlled using the 6” color touchpanel.

Press feeds were installed for radio and TV to directly connect to the system. A compact flash digital audio recorder is used for archives and taking minutes. Thompson Electronics Company provided equipment training to several key employees to ensure the system is used to its full capabilities.
