Fire Alarm Inspections

All inspections are - in accordance with Chapter 10 of the
National Fire Protection Act (NFPA) of 2002

INSPECT - TEST - EVALUATE - MAINTAIN

Thompson Electronics provides annual fire alarm inspections. We will evaluate your system to make sure it meets NFPA requirements. We have specialized tools needed to maintain systems and have a working relationships with manufacturers and suppliers of system components and spare parts.

ADDED VALUE - Online Inspection Reports

To better serve our customers detailed online reports are available for all fire alarm inspections. Reports give details of fire alarm system status and alerts the customer to any problem areas that may need attention in order to meet NFPA code.

ALL POINTS CHECK
We test for proper function
- All manual pull stations
- Horns/Strobes
- Smoke/Heat detectors
- All zones for alarm and trouble annunciation and wiring supervision

EVALUATE
- Fire alarm control panels to ensure proper switch-over to battery operation
when AC power is removed.
- Digital signage, video walls
- Media retrieval & distribution
- A/V control systems

ADJUSTMENTS
Calibration and adjustment of system control equipment will be performed if necessary.

DOCUMENTATION
Thorough documentation confirms all points test and results.

HOW TO PLAN
Make all occupants at your facility aware of the inspection date and advise them that inspectors will be in and around the building.
