We installed an Edwards Systems Technology EST3 Fire Alarm System to fit the needs of St. Margaret's Hospital . The EST3 and Signature Series devices enabled Thompson Electronics Company to completely retrofit the fire alarm system in an existing operational hospital, without compromising protection. We met the fast paced schedule established by the facility and the Illinois Department of Public Health. The expansion capacity of the EST3 is up to 2500 Signature Series Detectors/Modules per panel (250 per loop, 10 loops) up to 64 panels per network (160,000 intelligent devices). All devices messages can be routed to any annunciation panel throughout the network.
