The Edwards Fire Alarm System was expanded using EST-2 Fire Alarm panel with a digital remote annunciator panel located at the nurses station. All information is clearly displayed on the fire alarm and remote annunciator panels so that staff is constantly able to determine the status of the system. The fire alarm system when triggered by an alarm controls the closing of doors and the redirection of air handlers automatically.

In association with corridor dome lights used by the nurse call system, one red cell of the multiple cell corridor light is illuminated when a smoke detector in a resident room products an alarm. When coupled with primary annunciation from the fire alarm system, staff may quickly determine the location of alarms and provide the appropriate response.

Our staff of installation professionals are NICET certified for the installation of fire alarm systems. This certification assures our clients that all work performed by our staff in their facilities will be done in conformance with the most recent guidelines established and published by the NFPA. Our staff is familiar with the long term resident care environment. Little details including "men working" signs, cordoned off work areas and pleasant words for inquisitive residents make a big difference when we work in your facility. Every effort is made to provide as little inconvenience to the residents and staff during our installations. The highest level of safety is our primary concern when we work in our clients' facilities.
