Meeting
the Needs
Thompson Electronics Company worked with the Morton
school district
to determine the needs of the facility.
The proper system was designed and installed to meet
the needs of the high school along with the performing
arts center. The installation was completed in phases
with the school maintenance staff pulling wire and
installing field devices. TEC provided the system design,
technical
assistance and programming of the fire alarm control
panel.
By using an analog addressable fire alarm system, authorities
responding
to a fire alarm are able to quickly determine
the type of alarm
(pull station or smoke detector) and
the location. This speeds response
to the actual fire
event.
