Thompson Electronics CompanyAudio Installation Standards
The successful operation of a new sound system is related directly to the quality of the installation.
Thompson Electronics Company will assure quality installations of the highest caliber.
A quality installation helps to guarantee the system operates to it's full potential.
Preparation:
Before we begin the on-site installation, a great deal of work is done in our shop. Equipment racks are loaded and terminated, speaker clusters are assembled and painted, and digital processing equipment is programmed. Performing this work in a controlled environment assures the systems are assembled correctly and according to factory standards. Assembly in the shop also helps to reduce the amount of on-site work required. In doing so, the change-over-period to the new system is much shorter. Hence, travel and overnight expenses are reduced.
Quality:
Once assembled, electronics are tested and "burned-in." With many of today's electronic components, failure is most common in the first 24-48 hours of operation. The burn-in period allows us to catch potentially defective equipment, prior to the on-site installation. This helps to assure continued successful operation of the system.

Experience and Knowledge:
Our audio systems technicians are NICET* certified and have the experience to test, troubleshoot and certify all systems for the highest quality performance. We employ union IBEW, Electronic System Technicians that are trained specifically in the installation of Professional Sound Systems. Thompson Electronics is dedicated to continuing education and each technician receives a minimum of 32 hours of training each year. Classes include, product specific factory training, loud-speaker rigging standards and advanced sound system installation practices.

NICET Certification
Growth Potential:
The installation process does not end when the on-site work is complete. Engineered CAD drawings are assembled to show the system's configuration. These computer generated drawings make future repairs easy to diagnose. Owner manuals are provided that include product literature and step-by-step instructions. The operator can consult these manuals with simple questions.
