 This full-featured hotel offering convention and meeting services required a flexible audio system design. The architect desired a speaker design with simple line that would compliment the other ceiling mounted devices. Recessed ceiling speakers were used to meet the aesthetic and performance needs. The speaker system selected provides consistent, even coverage throughout the listening area of each room. Additional electronic sound processing components optimize the performance of the sound systems.
Flexible System Design
The Convention Center is made up of over 15,000 square feet of flexible, state-of-the-art meeting space. The individual meeting rooms may be combined as needed to meet the needs of convention groups. Flexibility to allow for multiple room configurations was an important consideration in the audio system design. The microprocessor based system enables audio room setup based upon user needs. The system is designed to accommodate future growth that may include audio system upgrades, expansion of the system or addition of a video projection system.
